Who we are

The Sandwich Handyman is a local handyman business based in Sandwich, Kent, UK. You can reach us on 07763 100477 or info@sandwichhandyman.co.uk.

What we collect

If you use our contact form, we collect your name, address, town, postcode, phone number, email address and a description of the job. We use this to reply to your enquiry and arrange any work you ask for. We do this because you have asked us to, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We send the form to our business email. We keep a record of enquiries, chats and our dealings with you. If you would like your own record deleted, contact us at info@sandwichhandyman.co.uk and we will do it.

If you contact us by phone, text, WhatsApp or email, we use your details to reply to you and arrange any work you ask for.

Job applications and sub-contractors

If you send us a CV, a message or details about your work, for example through our Work with us page, we use it to consider you for work or a partnership and to get in touch with you about it. Please send only what we need, and do not include bank details or ID numbers unless we ask for them. We do this because you have asked us to consider you, and because we have a legitimate interest in finding reliable people. We may keep your details so we can contact you when work comes up. If you would like them deleted, contact us at info@sandwichhandyman.co.uk or on 07763 100477 and we will do it.

Website statistics

We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us at info@sandwichhandyman.co.uk. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict how we use it, and to object to our use of it. To use any of these rights, email us at the address above. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, please contact us first at the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
