Complaints

Complaints policy.

If a job hasn't gone the way it should, here's how to tell us and what happens next.

Our standard

Most jobs that need a fix get sorted with a quick callback, no formal complaint needed. This page is for the small number of cases that need more than that.

How to make a complaint

Call or WhatsApp 07763 100477, or email info@sandwichhandyman.co.uk. Tell us your name, address, the job in question, and what went wrong. A photo helps if the issue is visible.

What happens next

Acknowledgement: within 2 working days.

Investigation: we'll look into what happened, which may mean a return visit to inspect the work, and get back to you with our findings within 7 working days of acknowledging the complaint.

Resolution: where we're at fault, we'll agree a fix with you at no charge and complete it as soon as reasonably possible, usually within 14 days depending on the work involved. If we don't think we're at fault, we'll explain why in writing.

If you're still not happy

If you've been through the above and remain unsatisfied, you can contact Citizens Advice consumer service (0808 223 1133, citizensadvice.org.uk) for free, impartial guidance on your options, or report the matter to Trading Standards via the same service.
